Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name and email address when you create an account (via Firebase Authentication). We also collect usage data such as message activity, plan status, device/platform signals, and basic analytics (for example visitor sessions) to operate and improve tatAI.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to provide and improve tatAI, authenticate users, enforce free/Pro limits, process payments, provide customer support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising.
AI Processing (Important)
When you chat with tatAI, your prompts and relevant conversation context are sent to third-party AI providers so we can generate responses, transcriptions, speech, web lookup results, and similar features. Those providers process the content to return results. Do not submit secrets, passwords, or highly sensitive personal data you are not comfortable sharing with AI processors.
Data Storage & Security
Account authentication is handled by Firebase. Application data such as conversation history (when saved), plan status, and support-related records may be stored using Redis/Upstash and related infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Payments
Payment processing is handled by PayPal. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Successful payments may be recorded (for example order ID, amount, and account link) so we can activate Pro access and keep admin records.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme/language), and track free-message limits on your device. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to make a request. You can also use in-product account/delete options where available.
